About Ken
Aerospace software engineer, business owner, and author with more than four decades of experience solving complex problems with practical solutions.
More Than 40 Years of Solving Problems
For more than 40 years, Ken has designed software for industries where reliability and accuracy are not optional.
His work has included aerospace, defense, satellite, medical, industrial, and other systems where consistency, repeatability, and accuracy matter every day.
In aerospace, that work must meet rigorous standards and earn approval from authorities such as the FAA and EASA.
For more than 29 years, Ken has owned and operated a software consulting company that he continues to run today, helping businesses solve complex technical problems with practical solutions.
Over the years, Ken began seeing the same kind of problem outside the complex systems he worked on.
Office workers were spending hours repeating the same tasks. Copying data. Formatting reports. Creating the same documents. Performing the same steps. Day after day.
Not because the task was difficult. Because no one had shown them a simpler way.
Ken had spent decades building software tools to make his own work faster, more accurate, and more repeatable. He realized the same approach could help people with the everyday tasks they were doing in offices and businesses.
That realization became the foundation for the Build Once approach.
Why Ken Is Writing These Books
The goal is not to turn readers into programmers. The goal is to help them solve real problems, get repetitive tasks done faster, and get part of their day back.
You already know the tasks you perform every day. These books show you how to teach your computer or other systems to handle the repetitive parts for you.
You do not need to understand programming before you begin. You start with a task you already understand, then learn how to make the system handle it for you.
Each book builds on what you learned in the previous Build Once books. You start with tasks you already understand, teach the system to handle them, and continue building from there.
The tools and problems may change, but the idea remains the same: build the solution once, then let it keep handling the repetitive tasks for you.
Ready to Get Some of Your Day Back?
Repetitive tasks do more than take time out of your day. They can mean long hours, late nights, lost weekends, and missing moments with the people who matter. Build Once is about finding a better way to handle those tasks so you can get some of that time back.
